Being Blind - a Thought Experiment
Imagine a thought experiment where there is a blind person who is blind from his/her birth and they are totally blind i.e they havent seen anything ever.
Now consider the case where science advances so much that their eyesight can be restored and they sign up for this operation. Now should they get the operation done ?
Since they havent seen anything yet, the neural networks between the brain and their eyes shouldnt have formed and even if they are restored, restoring the eyesight would overhelm the patient and can possibly kill them ?
